Hagerstown Personal Trainer Exposes Reebok Easy Tones
Posted by: | CommentsReally? These shoes suck. No seriously they SUCK! I wrote about the trend of “fitness shoes” in the July 12 edition of my column for the Herald Mail newspaper about some of the claims the manufacturers of these trash shoes make. None of their claims have any weight, and they are making billions off the stupidity of the American consumer. Now I won’t say you are stupid if you’ve bought these shoes, but you’ve made a stupid decision.
If you are fat wearing Nike shoes, you will continue to be fat wearing Easy Tones. You’ll at least get some respect in the Nike shoes. In the Easy tones you just look silly.
The commercial is pretty good, the girl is cute. But do you really think she got that nice butt wearing those rediculous shoes? Nope, shes on the stairmaster for about an hour a day, hitting the weights 3-5 times a week, and probably taking a few Zumba classes if she’s feelin froggy.
Let’s say just for sake of argument that these shoes actually do what they say they do. After about 3 weeks they will lose any magical properties they were endowed with because your body will adapt to the shoes, and it’s a wrap. so you’ve shelled out hard earned money for magic shoes that don’t do anything for loger than 21 days. Hagerstown Personal Trainer exposes deceptive supplement companies

But being the kind of guy that I am, I did some digging, and found some companies who make these wild claims about their products, and now I present them to you. These companies may or may not be the ones under federal investigation, but they claim to cure everything from diabetes all the way up to cancer. Shameful. Hagerstown Personal Trainer Talks Fatherhood
Posted by: | CommentsI was raised by a single mother who did the best she could to raise me to be a man of good moral character, and respected social standing. My dad and her were never an item, so I spent most of my life without a regular male figure in my life as she wasn’t in a hurry to replace him. Throughout my life, I had a few “father figures” like older male relatives, friends fathers, coaches, etc that I gained bits and pieces of information on how a man should move in this world. Often these bits of information weren’t the best, but it was really all I had.

If It Ain’t Workin…

Sometimes you have to know when things just aren’t going your way, and take a break. I plan on competing in my second powerlifting meet July 17th, but things aren’t looking great for your ol’ buddy Chad. Today marks the third workout in a row where my strength has taken a reverse course, and I’ve left the gym dissappointed in my performance. So, it’s time for a well deserved break. For the next week, I’m not touching any heavy lifts. No heavy squat, bench pressing, or deadlifts. In giving my body a break from the hard training, I hope to come back more energetic, and on the path to power again. I’ll have about 4 weeks to train for the meet after this break, so I should see some decent progress.
Enough about me, let’s talk about you. How often do you find yourself in the “stink”? That frustrating point at which all progress stops, and you find yourself just kind of going through the motions in your training? Times like these call for some intelligent decisions. When we hit that dreaded training “plateau”, we need to carefully examine what we are doing, and what we can change to get the oven burning again. Does the volume need reduce? Does the volume need INCREASED? Do we need to lighten theweights, and do more reps? Do we need to INCREASE the weights and decrease the reps? Whatever the reason, it’s time to go back to the drawing board.
Don’t keep doing the same thing day in and day out if it isn’t moving you forward! Make the neccessary changes to keep seeing progress.
