Hagerstown personal trainer Chad Smith is making some big changes, including changing his personal training home. Change is great, as you'll read in the following blog entry, and you'll learn how making changes at the right time can be the catalyst to growth, and inevidebly excellence...

Celebrate positive change…

So, sometimes change is a great thing. For me, the biggest change right now is I am moving my personal training home from Rosewood Pool and fitness to Southpointe Fitness Club in Hagerstown, MD I’m excited about the move because as a Hagerstown personal trainer, I need to constantly collaborate my efforts to make my city healthier, and live better through fitness with other like minded individuals to achieve our common vision. I’m happy to say that I’ve found a partner in Southpointe Fitness Club Owner, Heather O’Neill. Heather has developed her club into a community of friends, and has gathered a staff of instructors dedicated to excellence. In my move here, we have a unique opportunity to make moves in our city that we couldn’t do on our own. For this, I am excited! I will always be grateful for the relationship I had with the owners of Rosewood Pool and Fitness, but when you reach the point where you aren’t growing, it’s time to stretch your legs. I’ve always felt that if I stop growing, I start dying, and I don’t die so easy…

I guess the same thing here can be said for your fitness efforts. If you are at a point in your training where progress just isn’t coming , making a change somewhere might just be the ticket. Whether it’s sets, reps, loading scheme, volume, rest time, you gotta change SOMETHING to keep the ball moving. When you do make the change, you will feel like 2000 lbs was lifted of your back, and your motivation skyrockets. I guarantee you’ll have the best workouts you’ve had in years. I’ve had a rack of major changes in my life. Some good, some not so good. Some were downright devastating. My mother’s passing, getting married, starting a business, getting a newspaper column, having my son, my father’s passing and getting a radio show have all come in the past 6 years. All of these major changes have all moved me out of some level of comfort, and helped move me forward, either personally or professionally.

On a smaller scale, I had to practically relearn strength training when I began to train for power lifting. When I did, I got stronger than I had ever been in my life, and went on to win the R.A.W. United Northeast Regionals in only my second meet, setting new records in my age and weight class. I developed intense focus, and a new respect for mastering the finer mechanics of lifting big weights. Change is great…

The reality is that the price of progress is the pain of change. So look at any change you have to make as an opportunity for progress. It’s gonna be a little uncomfortable, but you’ll grow. And when you see your progress going off the meter, you’ll start looking for growth opportunities, and that my friend, is the path of excellence.

Chad here,

I’ve been getting a lot of emails asking if we have a fast solution to help with the shrinking the waist, hips and buns area in time for summer…

… while there is no quick fix (I don’t care what the infomercials claim) I did go to the drawing board and crafted a new 21 day rapid fat loss program that’s right up your alley – if you want fast results.

You probably know that our Metabolic Mayhem training program is the best option for consistent fitness results time and time again, but the class times may not be convenient for you. So I thought I’d let you know that our NEW 21 Day ”Drop a Dress Size” coaching program starts Monday, May 2 and the best part is that the 21 day program is a one time payment of just $99 and INCLUDES:

21 day access to our “Biometrics” online custom meal plan generator ($120 value)

21 day “build and burn” training program based on our “Destination Transformation” training system ($150 value)

VIP” access to our “Ultimate Fat Loss Blueprint” teleseminar. ($37 value)

Three 30 minute Q+A coaching calls ($59 value)

Unlimited email support via “top secret” member exclusive e-mail address ($29 value)

21 days of bonus resources from the nation’s top fat loss experts including Craig Ballentine, Rocco Castellano, Tom Venuto, Dr. Joun Berardi, Dr. Chris Mohr, Alwyn Cosgrove, and MORE! ($400 value)

Plus, if you enroll before April 28, and get the interview I did with former “Biggest Loser” coach, Kim Lyons ! (value: priceless). In this rare interview, Kim explains what the methods are that help her produce success for her celebrity clients, how she got her pre-baby body back in a matter of months, and what she REALLY thinks of Biggest Loser Co-star Jillian Michaels!

Altogether, this results- guaranteed package has a real world value of well over $800.00, but during this limited time offer, we are practically giving it away for only $99.00! Here’s the deal, we can’t accommodate all of the requests we get for one one one personal training. So we wanted to give you the nuts and bolts of what we do, at an investment that anyone can afford.

In 21 short days you can expext to:

Drop at least one dress size.

Lose up to 10 pounds of unwanted body fat

Become tighter, and more toned

Increased energy and stamina

Lose that “frumpy” feeling

Jumpstart your metabolism, setting the stage for even greater results this summer!

The only catch is that our time and availability is limited, and we are only accepting 21 participants.. So if you’re ready to fit into your skinny jeans again and want to firm and tone your body all while dropping inches and pounds then make sure to register for our 21 Day “Drop a Dress Size” Rapid Fat Loss coaching program.

Here’s how to register…

Just call us at 240.217.5713 and let us know that you want in on the 21 Day “Drop A Dress Size” Rapid Fat Loss coaching program and we’ll get you squared away or just sign up HERE.
Looking forward to working with you!

Chad

240.217.5713

My friend and business coach, internationally recognized fitness celebrity Rocco Castellano gained worldwide attention for his Emmy Award winning episode of “MTV MADE” where he helped a young, obese woman lose 30 pounds on the path to pursue her dream to become a plus size model. Rocco Castellano has decided to let the general public in on the methods he uses to help celebs lose 30 pounds in thirty days. Rocco is the go to guy for beauty pageant contestants, professional athletes, models, and music and film stars who need to lose weight fast. He’s been producing spectacular results for these high paid people for years. Rocco has proven over and over again that anybody can lose weight-quickly.

But there’s a catch, of sorts. You won’t find any coddling here. There’s none of that popular “feel good therapy” like, “It’s not your fault you’re fat.” Nope. Rocco believes in telling it like it is. In fact, he’s downright blunt about the fact that your weight is your fault. His mantra, “Say it with me. IT IS MY FAULT.” This is refreshingly honest, if you ask me, because, although it’s tough, it also empowers people to know that they CAN lose the weight. You just have to do exactly what Rocco tells you to do.

One of the best parts of Lose 30 in Thirty is that it cuts through all the bs that’s out there concerning weight loss. There are people making a fortune by selling “secrets” that don’t work in the real world. That kind of thing makes Rocco upset. He’s made it his personal mission to tell people the truth so that they can finally get the results they need instead of just wasting their time and their hard-earned money.

Lose 30 in Thirty isn’t just about losing weight and inches, though. It’s really about reshaping your body. Those beauty contestants wouldn’t look very good in their swim suits if they had saggy skin hanging on their stomachs, would they? Rocco will guide you through everything it takes to make your body firm and lifted in all the right places. And you’ll likely become healthier in the process.

Check it out HERE

Rocco’s material includes vitally important specifics that you need to know in order to take control of your body. Things like:

What type of exercises that will KEEP you from losing weight

Exactly what you should and should not be eating to melt pounds

The truth about supplements and weight loss

Nothing is left out. You get:

Lose 30 in Thirty Fitness Program eBook

Lose 30 in Thirty Food Journal

Lose 30 in Thirty Workouts Cards (135 in all)

Sample Meal Plans, plus 12 month’s of Online Meal Plans

Specialty Workout Cards

askROCCO Grocery List

There’s a whole bunch more in the program, too, but I think you get the idea. I’ve trusted Rocco with my business, you can trust him with your body.

If you are serious about wanting to lose weight fast, then Lose 30 in Thirty is the program you’ve been waiting for. I personally endorse this program, and have partnered with Rocco to help more people just like you reclaim their health, and confidence.

What are they thinking? According to USA today, fast food chain Wendy’s will launch their new “natural cut fries”. Now these fries are going to use sea-salt which is incorrectly believed to be healthier than table salt. The only real difference between table salt and sea salt is color, taste, and price.

Wendy’s is trying to make you believe that these new fries are healthier while the amount of sodium per serving! 270 milligrams per small order, up from 180 in a small order. That’s an unacceptable increase. It’s recommended that healthy adults consume less than 2300 mg of sodium per day, and less than 1500 mg a day if you have high blood pressure.

With what we know about the connection of sodium to high blood pressure, and starches to diabetes and obesity, how can Wendy’s actually sell their french fries as a healthy food?

You know what though? You’ll believe it. The marketing mojo of these companies is strong. They have silly amounts of money to make you believe whatever they want you to believe.

So the bottom line here is you know what if you are eating french fries, eat em because you like em, and you’ve earned the extra calories and sodium through a week of hard training. Don’t eat french fries under the illusion of them being a “natural health food”. Guess what Wendy’s? Frying a food in hot oil, and dousing it in salt doesn’t qualify it as “natural”. Stop lying to the American public, and call a horse a horse.

In this weeks column for the Herald Mail newspaper, I shared my 4 year experience with vegetarianism. I also promised to give you a few reputable Registered Dietitians to call if you want to make an informed decision to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle. So after some research, here are 3 RD’s I would consider to be A+ resources. Let me know what your experience was with these fine professionals. And tell em I sent ya!

Rosalia Coffen RD

Phone: 301.714.4041

Cynthia Held RD

Phone: 301.797.0109

Arleen Shuster RD

Phone: 301.730.3199

Each of these RD’s have different specialties and services, something for everyone. If you are going to go vegetarian, you need to do it right, as there are certain health risks associated with a careless attempt.
